So today was a good day, in fact a very good day! We are still buzzing here in soap central from all that has happened.
Prince Edward and his lovely wife Sophie, Countess of Wessex came to visit our lovely village of Mitcheldean in Gloucestershire. The children from Mitcheldean Endowed Primary School were invited to meet them and this meant that our very own little Miss Soap got to present a basket of our handmade soap and goodies to the Countess and even if we do say so ourselves she did look delighted.
Prince Edward and Sophie were delightful and took the time to speak to ALL of the very excited and bouncing around infant and junior school children, who were wildly waving union jack flags and quite literally cheering for England. The infants were dressed as Prince and Princesses and everyone was cheerful and very excited.
The sun shone for their visit and they arrived in a huge helicopter that the children were in awe of even though it was just that little bit noisy on landing!
We just with that everyday could be that exciting in SoapLand but in the meantime we hope Prince Edward and Countess Sophie enjoy using their handmade Mitcheldean Soap.
